Golan Then and Now

We will visit some of the highlight sites of the Golan and round our day off with tastes of local wine and olive oil.
We will start out at the Peace Vista with its stunning view of the Sea of Galilee.  From there we will head up to Tel Saki, a famous battle site from the Yom Kippur War.  Afterwards we will go back 1500 years for a taste of Jewish life in a small town in the Golan at the Talmudic Village in Katzrin.  After a local lunch we will enjoy olive oil and products at the Olive il factory  and wine tasting at the Golan Heights winery. We will complete our day with a visit to  the iconic Mount Bental - a dormant volcano with fabulous views of the Hermon and right into Syria.    This tour  is a wonderful way to become acquainted with the Golan Heights.
